Cloud Vendor Spotlight: SimplySo, Filtered, and Cloudworks

You may not be fully aware, but Westcoast don’t just sell Microsoft products through CSP – there’s also a huge range of attached services that you can offer to your customers. These services act as complements to Microsoft products and show your customers that you can provide extra value to a transaction.

SimplySo is add-on software for Office 365 that enhances the experience of SharePoint, while also making it easier to use. The software works as an overlay for SharePoint, to make it easier to access shared documents. It works both through traditional desktops as well as mobile devices. With SimplySo you can also customise the layout of SharePoint. It also enhances the social side of SharePoint, improving the process of sharing photos, posting comments, and collaborating with work groups (Team Sites).


How Filtered provides bespoke training

Filtered is an online training platform, which provides bespoke learning material based on the requirements of the user. The software will ask users questions around their aspirations and proficiency levels, and uses a unique algorithm to display training courses that are directly relevant to each user. Training is available on individual Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and Excel, though there is also a whole Microsoft bundle available that includes all of the major Office apps. There are currently 800,000 users of Filtered worldwide, and this number is only going to grow as time goes by.
